Howdy Doody is about the least-offensive subject I’ve ever seen in this zoo. I have vague recolections of watching it as a child. I think I was too little to really understand what a marionette was, so I had to be REALLY small And don’t forget Buffalo Bob and Clarabell Cow (who was played by the guy who later became Captain Kangaroo, Bob Keeshan!)

I will admit that sometimes I do enjoy a little AI. It’s a strange sort of enjoyment because I can feel it sucking bits of air out of the music industry, but I’ll admit that on the right week it can be fun to yell at the tv and whine about how "I just don’t get these kids." It’s like a car wreck. They’re not all bad either, especially now that it feels like there is a little more control given to the contestants. It felt a little better this year than in the past actually. I can’t stand Adam Lambert or his douche-y haircut though. I don’t like Kris Allen either, but at least he’s just boring. Lambert is very obnoxious. I kind of like Simon Cowell, even if he is something along the lines of Satan.

So, I guess I’d answer C. I didn’t have a horse in the race after the dude who finished third got taken out. Even with him, meh. It would have been nice to see someone I actually appreciated win, but I was never invested in the competition. Good water cooler talk, that’s about it.
