HOWDY DOODY TIME we as baby boomers were sitting in the peanut gallery listening to Howdy and Buffalo Bob, while the Atom Bomb was a threat and bomb shelters in our back yard. radio and TV commercials selling us kids cigarettes. shampoo, cereal, financing, bombs, war and much more to scare us kids to death. Rice Krispies were first test marketed in 1927 and then offered to consumers at large in 1928.
