Rice Krispies were first test marketed in 1927 and then offered to consumers at large in 1928. After the credits roll, there is an NBC promo for the Shari Lewis Show (which was taking over the Howdy Doody timeslot the next week), as well as a plug for a screening of “National Velvet”.
